Educators can now apply for larger classroom grants
CONWAY, Ark. (April 24, 2025) — Educators in the Conway Public School District will have access to more classroom funding for the upcoming school year, thanks to increased support for the Conway Public Schools Foundation’s Classroom Impact Grant program.
Beginning with the 2025–2026 school year, the Foundation will award Classroom Impact Grants of up to $1,000 per project, up from the previous limit of $750. This increase is made possible by the growth of the Foundation’s endowment and expanded engagement from the business community through the Community Partnership program and corporate sponsorships.
“Each year, our Classroom Impact Grant program helps teachers fund innovative projects and resources that enrich the learning environment for students,” said Marti Jones, executive director of the Conway Public Schools Foundation. “Our Community Partnership program and sponsorships help us put funding straight into teachers’ classrooms.”
The Foundation awards approximately 45-50 grants each year, totaling close to $40,000 in annual support for educators. Since launching the Classroom Impact Grant Program in 2013, the Foundation has awarded more than $200,000 to Conway Public Schools teachers.
While the number of grants awarded will remain steady this year due to the higher award amount, Jones said the long-term goal is to grow both the size and number of grants through continued support from community partners and individual donors.

“The additional grant money can make a real difference in a classroom,” Jones said. “It allows teachers to more easily stimulate creativity, promote excellence, and support lifelong learning.”
In addition to welcoming new Community Partners this year, the Foundation received a $10,000 contribution from Toad Suck Daze, which has a long-standing legacy of supporting education in Faulkner County and central Arkansas. The festival has contributed more than $2.4 million to local initiatives, including scholarships, STEM education, preschool funding, arts programs, and more.
The 2025 grant cycle opens May 1 and closes June 30. All Conway Public Schools educators are eligible to apply. Applications can be found at https://cpsfoundation.com/classroom-impact-grants.
