Marti Jones to lead nonprofit dedicated to serving CPS teachers

CONWAY, Ark. (August 1, 2022) – Marti Jones has been named the new Executive Director of the Conway Public Schools Foundation. Jones, who begins her new role on August 1, follows Aimee Prince, the inaugural CPSF Executive Director, who recently accepted a position with Bethlehem House in Conway.

“We are fortunate to have Marti join Conway Public Schools Foundation,” said Dr. Shaneil Ealy, President of the Conway Public Schools Foundation Board of Directors. “She will be a great asset to our mission to support Conway educators and enhance the experience of every student in Conway Public Schools.”

Conway Public Schools Foundation sponsors the Classroom Impact Grants program for Conway teachers, the Teacher of the Week recognition program, the Wampus Cat Courtyard, and the annual Hall of Honor, which recognizes outstanding educators, alumni, and friends of Conway Public Schools, among many programs.

Jones brings more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience, including fundraising, program development, and events management. She previously served as Executive Director of Haven House, where she led a $2.8 million fundraising effort for the organization’s new home for teenage girls in foster care, as well as general operations, marketing, and public relations.

“I am excited for the opportunity to join Conway Public Schools Foundation,” said Jones, who is a graduate of Conway High School and mother of two daughters who attend Conway Public Schools. “I am honored to work on behalf of an organization that celebrates and supports the teachers who make a difference in the lives of our children every day.”
