When school closed for Covid19, we jumped into action and built a food pantry to help our students with food insecurity. He has worked to keep the pantry filled the past 6 months by collaborating with community members. His teaching style is unique and engaging. His students learn life skills right alongside foundational skills. His annual fishing trip with his students is talked about for years after students leave his classroom. He also invests in students beyond the classroom and has established lifelong relationships with his students and families.”
